    Perhaps nothing is more frustrating when operating a restaurant than standing around during slow hours only to lose customers during a busy rush because the restaurant is at capacity and customers don’t want to wait. Managing the wait with pagers can be additionally frustrating when those expensive pagers break or customers walk off with them.   

    NoWait takes the frustration out of the seating process at casual dining restaurants for both restaurants and guests by innovating the waiting process. The NoWait iPadTM wait list allows hosts to build a digital wait list and notify guests by text message when their table is ready. Guests receive an initial text, confirming their place in the wait list and reassuring them that they will not be forgotten.  Guests are free to Wait Where They WantTM and are therefore more willing to accept a longer wait, thereby allowing restaurants to retain more parties throughout a busy shift.

    Through this interface, NoWait further creates the opportunity to engage waiting guests before they sit down with features and specials. Restaurants can use NoWait to continuously build valuable marketing lists by sending a final after-dinner message that prompts guests to join a text message marketing list, email marketing list, or visit the restaurant’s Facebook page.

    Additional features in include:

    Synchronizing Hardware

    Restaurants use AppleTM hardware (iPadTM, iPodTM, iPhoneTM) to take names, notify parties, seat parties, assign tables, and oversee the wait list.  Multiple hosts, managers, and owners can all view the wait list from their Apple device, and all devices synchronize in real time allowing team collaboration and observation. 

     

    Data Analytics

    NoWait provides rich data analysis of all activity on the wait list system through the online web portal.

     

    Supporting Web Portal for Customization

    NoWait’s supporting web portal allows all accounts to customize their messages they send to their patrons and customize additional settings to better match their restaurant.

     

    Various Party Types

    With NoWait, restaurant operators can keep track of parties on the Wait List, Call-Ahead parties, and can keep a digital Reservation book as well.  NoWait organizes all parties in a clear list together.
